More than 50 thousand people, 100 kg of pilaf, 50 kg of sumalak, walks, a good mood and a colorful activities, all these were arranged at a large-scale celebration organized in honor of Navruz in Eternal City of historical and ethnographic park of the Silk Road Samarkand.
Navruz is the Oriental New Year. One of the favorite holidays of Central Asia has been colorfully and brightly celebrated on the territory of the Silk Road Samarkand. For three days the visitors and the guests of the Complex enjoyed performances of Uzbek pop music stars and DJs, appreciated the show of the National costumes fr om Designer Hamida Inoyatova, and children adored the organized flash mobs, animators and contests of kites, wh ere they received memorable prizes. People enjoyed the performances of the musical group "Makon", and tasted the dishes of National Cuisine.
Bright emotions, children's joy, colorful music and festive atmosphere - that's certainly remained in the memory of all the guests who were lucky enough to celebrate Navruz at Silk Road Samarkand Complex.
