The Silk Road Samarkand tourist complex continues to confidently expand its international presence. From April 14 to 18, representatives of the complex took part in two major business forums — "Uzbekistan – Malaysia" in Kuala Lumpur and "Uzbekistan – Indonesia" in Jakarta.
Both events gathered over 400 participants, including representatives of leading companies, government bodies, and financial institutions. The delegation from the Samarkand region presented the region’s investment and tourism potential, emphasizing the key role of Silk Road Samarkand and Air Samarkand in developing international tourism and direct air connectivity.
The forums included B2B meetings with Malaysian and Indonesian airlines, tour operators, and potential investors. Joint projects, new route launches, and strategic partnership opportunities were discussed.
Participation in the forums confirmed the high level of interest in Samarkand as a future global tourism center and in Uzbekistan’s growing investment appeal.
