The Silk Road Samarkand tourist complex showcased its capabilities at the international conference “Central Asian Women in the hospitality industry: current challenges and prospects”.
The conference, held on June 13 in Tashkent, was organized by the International Business Women’s Association “Tadbirkor Ayol” and the USAID project for the development of entrepreneurship and business environment.
Participants were introduced to the opportunities offered by Silk Road Samarkand as a leading MICE venue, which has significantly enhanced Samarkand's tourism potential.
The international conference featured speeches by leaders and experts from the Department of Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Private Sector Development Union of Tajikistan, the International Business Academy “Alliance Strategy” of Kazakhstan, “Silk Road University
Samarkand”, the “She Stars” Women's Entrepreneurship Development Fund of Kyrgyz Republic, and other business and tourism organizations.
The conference provided an opportunity to present the achievements of Silk Road Samarkand, answer questions from colleagues and potential partners, and exchange diverse experiences among industry leaders. The interaction among professionals highlighted a strong interest in continuing such a multifaceted dialogue and developing further cooperation.
